|
Drum parts can be displayed on either a 5-string or single string drum staff. The display of drum parts is highly customizable. By default display of notes on drum staves uses a standard set of drum note heads and staff positioning. The shape of the note head and the position on the staff for any drum can be changed using the Drum Notation dialog under the Options menu. Probably the easiest way to create drum parts is to use the Piano Roll Editor. Click the Show Drum Names/Hide Drum Names button to show the drum names pane. Now the mapping of drum notes to specific drums is clear. Drum tracks normally play on channel 10, so make sure that you set the
channel for your drum tracks to channel 10.
