QuickScore Elite How To

How to synchronize with another sequencer as master

Getting Started   Tutorials  Manual  MIDI and Audio

As a master, QuickScore Elite sends Song Position Pointer and MIDI Clock messages.

To sync QuickScore Elite as a master, make sure the Send Midi Clock option in the Options menu is checked. Make sure the External Clock option in the Options menu is not checked. Set up the slave device to receive a Song Position Pointer message and MIDI Clock messages. Set QuickScore Elite to the point you want to start. Click on the play button or press the space bar to start playing. QuickScore Elite will send out a Song Position Pointer message to cue the slave device. A dialog appears, saying Click on OK to start playing. When the slave device is properly cued (this usually takes less than a second), click on OK to start playing.
